With the sun shining down, hundreds of people gathered at Toyota Pavilion at Montage Mountain for a Dave Matthews Band concert on Memorial Day.

Before the band took the stage, the crowd spent hours playing games, eating and drinking and just relaxing.

"It's a beautiful day, Memorial Day, I knew there would be a lot of people and it's something to do," said Nicholas Makhlouf of Syracuse.

"We've been playing washers and a lot of backyard games and we're really excited to see Dave," said Ashley Hausman of Hegins.

The warm weather got to some, but others took it all in stride.

"A little too warm for me, but we'll take it, there's cold beer," said Brian Madajewski of Nanticoke.

For many, Memorial Day is usually spent with family at a cookout, but some said the concert was even better.

"We usually have a cookout at my house, we usually have friends over, but Dave came this weekend, so we figured we'd make a holiday out of it," said Amanda Madajewski of Nanticoke.

"I usually spends Memorial Day with my family, but I'm here with my friends, hanging out, cooking out," agreed Zack Martin of Nanticoke.
