We are set to get the first full sunny weekend in about a month and folks in Wyoming County are more than ready.
They've been gearing up by stocking up on some necessities including barbecue grills and pool supplies.
They were making sure they're all stocked up on the important summer gear at Gay's Hardware Store in Wyoming County.
Things such as charcoal, grills, and propane, things folks in Tunkhannock have been making sure they have for the weekend.
"A lot of people have been buying grills and stuff getting ready for those cookouts for the summer so we've been seeing sales go up a lot," said Chelsey Whitmiller, Gay's True Value employee.
For Claire Nickeson of Wyalusing, a simple lounge chair will make her time outside more enjoyable.
"It seemed like we got tricked when we had all the nice warm weather early and now we're finally getting it back again, so I'm very excited," Nickeson said.
Just down the road at Nature's Creations, folks are getting ready for one of the biggest times of the year, opening up their pools.
"This is the earliest we've opened our pool in probably six or eight years, very, very, very very, early so I'm looking forward to it!" said Jack Rose of Falls.
He is not the only one getting his pool up and running early on.
"People opened them about a month ago when we had that really crazy warm spell so a lot of our customers already have been opening their pools, but yeah this is our big busy weekend," said Nicole Benson of Nature's Creations.
A weekend that is expected to be rain free for the first time in about a month.
