Traffic Delays Expected on Route 87

Traffic on Route 87 in part of Sullivan County will be stopped in both directions throughout the day for blasting  next week.

PennDOT said crews working along Route 87 north of Forksville are scheduled to blast between 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Traffic is expected to be stopped at least 20 minutes for the blasting, clearing debris and clean-up.

Northbound traffic will be stopped at the intersection of Route 87 and Route 154. Southbound traffic will be stopped approximately a  quarter of a mile north of the blast area, about a half mile south of Pleasant Valley Road.
