Investigators have released few details about the death of a woman in the Poconos, but consider her death suspicious.

A home on Pocono Forested Drive was surrounded by crime scene tape around 5 p.m. Saturday, as several state police vehicles were parked outside.

Investigators were called to the home near Marshalls Creek where they found a woman dead inside.

Few details have been released, but the coroner does consider the woman's death suspicious, leaving neighbors in the Pocono Forested Acres development nervous.

"We don`t know anything about what happened. We`d like to know what`s going on because we have kids, we worry at night. Everything in this community is dark and it makes you nervous," said neighbor Pilar Westphal.

Neighbors said the family lived in New York and came to the home on the weekends. Some neighbors were too upset to talk on camera but said the family was nice and they were shocked to hear of the woman`s death.

"Never happens for this community. Like I told you before, it`s very quiet, nice and quiet. It was a surprise for everybody. We don`t expect that kind of news in our community," added Westphal.

State police have not yet released the woman's name.

An autopsy is scheduled for Monday morning at Lehigh Valley Hospital.
