A man from Schuylkill County is accused of beating and robbing another man.
Police said Nikolis Chyat of Schuylkill Haven drove Kyle Lombel, also of Schuylkill Haven to a spot near Pine Grove late Tuesday night and beat him, threatened to shoot him, then took off Lombel’s backpack with about $650 worth of items inside.
Chyat was arrested Wednesday. He is free on bail.
