Four Face Charges in Home Invasion

Four people face robbery and assault charges after a home invasion in Monroe County.

State police said three men, Brandon Hallet, Nicholas Hauser, Anthony Alkema, and a juvenile male, all from East Strousburg, broke into a home on Castle Rock Drive in Middle Smithfield Township in December.

Authorities said the suspects showed the home owner a gun, tied him up, and then beat him.

The district attorney’s office will charge the juvenile as an adult.

Hallet was arraigned and is locked up in the Monroe County Jail on $25,000 bail.

The other three people were arraigned and are in jail on $50,000 bail.
