Polar Bear Plunge benefits the American Cacer Society. You can brave the March temperatures & plunge into PA’s largest natural body of water. A prize will be awarded for the most creative Plunging Outfit! The event is Saturday, March 24 starting at noon at Garrity Realty, Pole #89 on Harvey’s Lake.
25th Annual Gourmet Gala, Dickson City
Gourmet Gala benefits Ronald McDonald House of Scranton. Over 50 restaurants will prepare tempting hors d’oeuvres, delicacies & sweet treats. The Gourmet Gala ‘Moulin Rouge’ is celebrated in Dickson City on Sunday, March 25 from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. Tickets are available from the Ronald McDonald House & will also be sold at the door.
17th Annual Skippy Dietz Rabies Clinic, Lake Harmony
The rabies clinic is Saturday, March 31 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Lake Harmony Rescue Squad Building on Lake Drive. It’s $10 per shot and all animals must be on a leash or in a crate.
Awesome 80’s Dance Party, Tenth Annual Dinner Theater, Pocono Summit
There’s two performances of “Awesone 80’s Dance Party” at Pocono Mountain West High School in Pocono Summit on March 30 & 31 starting at 7 p.m. Please wear any clothing that marks the 80’s era. A “best of costume” prize wil be awarded! Tickets are available from Pocono Mountain West High School.
