A man from Susquehanna County was charged Monday with causing the death of his girlfriend.
Police said Eugene Parrish admitted injecting his girlfriend, Kathryn Pelka, 31, with what he thought was heroin just before she died.
According to investigators, an autopsy found Pelka died from the effects of cocaine and morphine.
Parrish is being held on $50,000 bail on involuntary manslaughter and drug delivery resulting in death charges in the Susquehanna County jail.
