Police in the Poconos want to know if two crimes early Tuesday morning are related.

Investigators said someone broke into the Village Bakery on Broad Street in Delaware Water Gap and stole several items.

About the same time, someone threw a rock through the front window of Water Gap Gulf Mart, also on Broad Street. They didn’t get into the store, but the damage is estimated at about $1,000.

Anyone with information about the two crimes are asked to contact state police at Swiftwater.
