    Hit and Run Sent Three To Hospital in Scranton

    SCRANTON — Police are looking for the driver of a silver pick-up truck after it t-boned an SUV Saturday morning. Officials said the truck was driving down Cherry Street in Scranton around 7 a.m., when it hit an SUV driving on Pittston Avenue. Upon impact, the SUV went through a fence at the House of China, and the pick-up truck sped off. Police said three people were taken to the hospital for minor injuries in the crash in Lackawanna County.

    Man on Bike Killed in Crash

    HANOVER TOWNSHIP — Officials are investigating a deadly crash in Luzerne County According to Hanover Township Police, a man on a bike was hit by a car on Hanover Street just before 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. The coroner said Shawn Camm, 20, of Hanover Township died at the hospital after the crash. The death has been ruled an accident. Police are continuing to investigate.

    WILKES-BARRE — A man was robbed at gunpoint in Luzerne County, according to Wilkes-Barre Police. Officials said it happened at McCarthy Jim Tavern On the Hill early Saturday morning,when a 43-year-old man was leaving the tavern. Firefighters said the fire on West Poplar Street in Shenandoah broke out just before 10 p.m. People at the scene told us the flames were put out quickly.   • Arrests Made in Recent String of Armed Robberies

    LARKSVILLE — According to Larksville police and the FBI, two men are locked up at the Lackawanna County prison. The men are being accused of robbing a Family Dollar store in Ashley and several other businesses in Luzerne County. Investigators believe the men are behind nearly half a dozen armed hold ups, including the one on December 27th at Adult World in Larksville. Authorities have not released the names of the suspects, or how they tracked them down.
