    MAYFIELD — Police are investigating after a man was shot in the face at a gentleman’s club in Lackawanna County. Officials said it happened at Club Cheetah on Route 6 in Mayfield, just before 5 a.m. Saturday. The man shot, was treated and released from the hospital, according to police. Officials said they believe it was an isolated incident, and they haven’t made any arrests, but have several leads after the shooting in Lackawanna County.

    SCRANTON — A mentally disabled man that was missing has returned home. Police said Mark Riechers, 24, of Scranton returned to his house on Monsey Avenue on Sunday. He was reported missing at 6 p.m. Saturday.

    Late Night Crash on Snow Covered Road

    PITTSTON — A woman was hurt in a late night crash on a snow covered road, in Luzerne County Saturday night. Pittston police told Newswatch 16 a car ran off Plank Street around 11:00 p.m. Officials said the car slammed into a garage door at Falcone Beverage. According to police, no one was in the building. The driver taken to a hospital to be checked out after the crash.

    MAHANOY CITY — A man was stabbed to death in his home in Schuylkill County early Sunday morning.     GOULDSBORO — There was a happy ending to a search for a missing hiker in Monroe County Saturday night.     SCRANTON — A man is charged with allegedly trying to rob restaurant in Lackawanna County.   Police said 24 year-old Jean Hernandez of Dickson City is charged with holding up Taquaria Oaxaca Restaurant on Cedar Avenue in Scranton.  Officials said he had a gun, and it happened just after 6 p.m. Friday. According to police, people eating inside at the time grabbed Hernandez, and held him down until police came. Jean Hernandez, was locked up Saturday morning in Lackawanna County.

    Row Homes Burned in Shenandoah

    SHENANDOAH — Four row homes went up in flames Saturday morning in Schuylkill County. Firefighters were on scene on East Washington Street, Shenandoah around 11a.m, battling the fire. According to the fire chief, only one apartment was occupied, and six people are displaced. One firefighter was taken to the hospital for minor injuries after falling through the floor, said the chief. The cause of the fire in Schuylkill County is under investigation.

    SCRANTON — A business remains open after an SUV crashed into it Saturday morning. It happened at National Bakery on Capouse Street in Scranton around 11:30, according to a worker at the bakery. The driver of the SUV said he accidentally accelerated instead of using the break. No one was injured in the crash in Lackawanna County.

    Man Arrested for Threatening to Blow-Up Building

    WILKES-BARRE—According to officials, a man was arrested Tuesday, for allegedly threatening to blow-up a building in Wilkes-Barre. Police in Luzerne County said James Gilmore from Hanover Township called the Public Defender’s Office in Wilkes-Barre Sunday afternoon, and left a message threatening to blow up the building. Police searched the building and didn’t find anything. Gilmore is locked up on $200,000 bail in Luzerne County.
