    NEW MILFORD TOWNSHIP– Rescue crews recovered a man’s body from a lake in Susquehanna County Saturday night. Officials said a canoe with four people overturned on Page Lake near New Milford just after 5:00 p.m. Saturday, and one man didn’t resurface.     UPDATE: Police Arrest Shooting Suspect

    KINGSTON — A shooting suspect is in custody after turning himself in at the Kingston Police Department overnight, according to authorities. Laron Williams had a warrant out for his arrest, wanted in connection with a shooting that happened at a residence on John Street in Kingston on Tuesday. Police said the victim of that shooting is still in the hospital in stable condition.

    DEVELOPING: State Police Press Conference on Search for Eric Frein

    BLOOMING GROVE TOWNSHIP —  State police have advised that there will be a press conference  about the continuous search for Eric Frein, the man accused of killing a  Pennsylvania State Trooper and injuring another. The press conference is expected to take place at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Blooming Grove Township Building on Route 739 in Blooming Grove Township. Newswatch 16 is there and will be interrupting ABC programming providing live coverage on WNEP and live streaming on WNEP.com.

    Man Stabbed, in Critical Condition

    HAZLETON — A stabbing in Luzerne County put a man in the hospital, and his attacker is on the run. Police said the Ernesto Quinones, 18, of Hazleton was stabbed in the chest on Sunday around 9 p.m. at the intersection of Maple and Wyoming Streets in the city. Quinones was flown to the hospital and is critical condition. So far, there haven’t been any arrests in connection with the stabbing Hazleton.

    WILKES-BARRE — Gunfire hit a home in Wilkes-Barre Tuesday morning, and police are looking for who pulled the trigger. Investigators were called out to the city just after midnight, where they said a bullet shattered a window in the back of a home on Coal Street.     Deadly Crash in West Wyoming

    WEST WYOMING — Two men were killed in a Saturday morning crash in Luzerne County. The coroner said Francis Rutledge, 39, of West Pittston, and John Soska, 36, of Wyoming both died when the pickup truck they were in ran off Shoemaker Avenue in West Wyoming and hit a utility pole around 12:30 a.m. Saturday. There is no word on what caused the crash.

    KINGSTON — A crime was caught on camera in Luzerne County. Kingston Police released a photo of a man holding up Pantry Quik on Wyoming Avenue on August 23, 2014. Authorities said the man with a gun emptied the register and took packs of cigarettes. If you know the man in the surveillance pictures call police in Luzerne County.

    WILKES-BARRE — Police in Luzerne County are investigating an early morning shooting. Gunfire and flashing lights woke up people along North Meade Street just before 4 a.m. Monday. Police said at least one person is in the hospital after the shooting. Authorities have not said who the victim is or what led to the violence in Wilkes-Barre.
