Freelance Program Producer

Kevin Fonash is currently a freelance producer at WNEP. He was the co-producer of WNEP’s Home & Backyard for more than six years, before stepping down in January, 2017. Today, he assists with many different projects at WNEP, bringing his experience where needed!

Kevin graduated from Kutztown University with a degree in electronic media.

During his last semester at Kutztown, Kevin interned at WNEP in the production department. In October of 2009, he was hired as as a part-time production assistant, where he ran camera, audio, and teleprompter for Newswatch 16 telecasts.

In July of 2010, Kevin was given the opportunity to be a full-time local programming producer, of which Home & Backyard was his main responsibility.

Kevin currently resides in Scranton with his dog, Sadie. His interests include traveling, being outdoors, and playing ping-pong.
