Investigators release more details in Williamsport double homicide

Investigators in Lycoming County released new details Saturday morning involving the double homicide overnight Thursday.

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. — A message from Lycoming County District Attorney Tom Marino just one day after two people were found shot to death in a car Friday on Terrace Place in Williamsport, "There is no threat to the public."

Marino reiterated to Newswatch 16 that this is an isolated incident.

The victims have been identified as 37-year-old Alisha Seese and 37-year-old Ronald Dailey. Investigators say the two were employees of Lycoming Engines.

It is believed the victims were shot not long after they left work at the factory late Thursday night.

Officials say there this a person of interest in custody at this time. Investigators will not say how this person is connected to the victims but said they are being held on charges stemming from a PFA.

Officials would not say if the PFA involved one of the victims. They stress this investigation is in the very early stages.

"The autopsies are being conducted today. We have our agents and officers in today following up on leads, doing some search warrants, and finishing up evidence that was collected yesterday," said Chief Justin Snyder, Williamsport Bureau of Police.

Police are asking people who live near the scene to check their home security cameras to help them in this investigation.

"We want to know if anyone has that we didn't talk to yet, a security system outside their house, video of what is happening on their property, who is coming and going, who may be walking down the street, who may be parking a car in a certain place," said Tom Marino, Lycoming County District Attorney.

Investigators are asking anyone with information to either contact the Williamsport Bureau of Police or submit a tip through the Crimewatch page by clicking here.
