    STROUDSBURG –  A man in the Poconos is accused of stealing not one, but two cars after he tried to avoid getting arrested Monday morning.     PALMYRA TOWNSHIP — A woman and child were flown to a hospital after a jet ski explosion at Lake Wallenpaupack. It happened Wednesday morning around 8 a.m. at Wilsonville Campground on Lake Wallenpaupack, near Hawley. According to officials with the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission, 43-year-old Rebecca Ruddy and her 7-year-old son from Mountain Top were hurt in this explosion.     Fire Company Picnic Kicks Off in Mountain Top

    FAIRVIEW TOWNSHIP — A fire company fundraiser drew crowds in Luzerne County Friday night. The Mountain Top Hose Company No. 1 picnic started Friday. Newswatch 16’s Tom Williams was even there making funnel cakes. The picnic runs Saturday and Sunday at the carnival grounds behind the fire station at the junction of Routes 309 and 437. A parade is scheduled for Saturday and a live auction on Sunday.
