SHAMOKIN, Pa. -- Flames caused a part of a home to collapse in Northumberland County.
The fire started just after 4 a.m. Saturday at the place along South Market Street in Shamokin. A second alarm was called shortly afterward.
No one was hurt.
Police say the fire started in the back of the home, but because part of the building collapsed, investigators could not safely get to the area where they believe it started.
Shamokin police say the investigation is ongoing.
