JACKSON TOWNSHIP, Pa -- A man from New York faces homicide charges for a drunk driving crash that killed a passenger in his SUV.
Police say the SUV slammed into a tree along Route 715 near Tannersville just after 9 p.m. Tuesday.
A passenger in the back seat died in the wreck.
Officers in Monroe County say the driver, Ramon Ramchandra, 34, of Richmond Hill, New York, was intoxicated and registered at twice the legal limit when he was tested at the crash scene.
Three others were injured in the crash.
