Here are some community announcements regarding closings, parking bans, and other changes due to the winter weather.

As of 6;30 p.m. Wednesday, PennDOT has restored the speed limits on all roads that had restrictions during the latest storm.
PIKE COUNTY — All Pike County Area Agency on Aging senior centers are closed Thursday, March 8. There will be no meal delivery Thursday. Offices are back open.
LUZERNE COUNTY — The parking ban in Forty Fort has been lifted.
MONROE COUNTY — Stroud Township Municipal Office is closed and will reopen
at 8 a.m., Thursday, March 8.
Due to the severity of the winter storm, PennDOT is
temporarily reducing the speed limit on several roadways in the region.
PennDOT is urging drivers to avoid unnecessary travel but
those who must head out will see speeds reduced to 45 mph on Interstate 80, Interstate 81, Interstate 84, and Interstate 380.
LUZERNE COUNTY — Children’s Service Center closed except for emergency services.
PennDOT centers in Berks County, Bradford County, Lackawanna County, Lehigh County, Luzerne County, Monroe County, Northampton County, and Schuylkill County are closed Wednesday, March 7.
LACKAWANNA/LUZERNE COUNTIES — The Wright Center for Primary Care clinics in Scranton, Jermyn, Clarks Summit, and Wilkes-Barre will be closed Wednesday, March 7.
MONTOUR COUNTY — Montour County offices will be closed on Wednesday, March 7.
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY — Clinical Outcomes Group Inc. located at 437 North Centre Street in Pottsville will be closed Wednesday, March 7. It will reopen at 8 a.m. Thursday.
LUZERNE COUNTY — Wyoming Borough snow ban parking in effect. Please park on the odd side of the street during the storm on March 7. Residents asked not to park on Wyoming Avenue from 8 a.m. until 11:59 p.m.
LUZERNE COUNTY — Luzerne County Transportation Authority (LCTA) buses and Shared Ride vehicles will not be running on Wednesday, March 7.
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY — Tremont Borough Snow Emergency Routes in effect from 6 a.m. March 7 until 6 a.m. March 8.
• East & West Laurel Streets with Line Street included from Union Street to West Main Street
• East & West Main Streets from Union Street to West Laurel Streets
• Clay Street
• North Street
• Spring Street
LUZERNE COUNTY — Parking ban on Wyoming Avenue in Exeter will be in effect on Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 11:59 p.m.
LUZERNE COUNTY — Snow ban in effect in Hazleton until further notice.
CARBON COUNTY — Snow emergency declared in Lehighton beginning 6 a.m. Wednesday, March 7. Follow signs posted along snow emergency route.
LACKAWANNA COUNTY — COLTS buses are not running Wednesday, March 7. The Lackawanna Transit Center will also be closed. Shared Ride trips are also
LACKAWANNA COUNTY — All Lackawanna County offices will be closed Wednesday.
LUZERNE COUNTY — Parking ban in effect in Forty Fort on Wyoming Avenue, Welles Street, River Street (from Rutter Avenue to Wyoming Avenue), Slocum Street, Shoemaker Street, Dennison Street, and the entire length of Murray Street from 9 a.m. Wednesday, March 7, until 7 a.m. Thursday, March 8.
MONROE COUNTY — Monroe County Courthouse and magistrate offices of the 43rd Judicial District will be closed on Wednesday, March 7.
If you had a hearing in front of a judge scheduled at the Monroe County Court of Common Pleas for Wednesday, your hearing will take place on Thursday at that same time.
LUZERNE COUNTY — Plymouth borough parking restrictions:
• Route 11 – Carey Avenue to Vine Street: no parking on odd numbered side of street.
• Route 11 – Vine Street to Driscoll Street: no parking on both sides of street.
• Cherry Street- No parking on both sides.
• Academy Street – No parking on even numbered side.
• Davenport Street – No parking on odd numbered side.
• Orchard Street – No parking on even numbered side
• Second Street – No parking on even numbered side from Davenport Street to Orchard Street
• Franklin Street – No parking on odd numbered side.
• Vine Street – No parking on even numbered side from Main Street to Larksville Borough line.
• Moss Street – No parking on even numbered side.
• Turner Street – No parking on even numbered side.
• High Street- No parking. Please park on Davis Street or other surrounding streets.
• Reynolds Street- No parking even side. Please park on odd side of street or at Barnes Street Baseball Field. Gates will be unlocked.
LACKAWANNA COUNTY — Scranton City Hall will be closed Wednesday.
LACKAWANNA COUNTY — The Commonwealth office building in Scranton is closed on Wednesday.
PIKE COUNTY — Pike County offices will be closed on Wednesday, March 7, except for correctional officers and communication dispatchers.
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY — Snow emergency in Ashland on Tuesday and Wednesday from 2 a.m. to 6 a.m. No parking on Hoffman Boulevard from Brock Street to Center Street or on Centre Street from Front Street to 23rd Street.
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY — No parking on Market Street (Route 895) in Auburn
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY — Snow Emergency Level 2 with parking ban in effect in Pottsville starting at 9 p.m. Tuesday. All vehicles must be removed from snow emergency routes and fire lanes.
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY — Snow emergency in Minersville from 5 a.m. on Wednesday, March 7 to 8 a.m. on Thursday, March 8. No parking on the snow emergency routes of Sunbury Street, Front Street, and South Third Street.
MONROE COUNTY — No MCTA bus service from Wednesday, March 7 through 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 8.
LUZERNE COUNTY — Luzerne borough council meeting scheduled for Wednesday, March 7 canceled.
LUZERNE COUNTY — No parking in Kingston on even-numbered side of the streets from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday.
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY — Parking ban in Saint Clair for the entire length of 2nd Street and the entire length of Hancock Street in effect Wednesday from 6 a.m. – 8 p.m.
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY — Snow emergency in Frackville effective at midnight Tuesday into March 7. No parking on snow emergency routes.
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY — Snow emergency in Middleport starting at 10 p.m. Tuesday. Parking ban in effect.
