CARBONDALE TOWNSHIP — UPDATE: The Lackawanna County coroner has identified the woman killed in Wednesday’s crash as Heather Casper, 38, of Fell Township.

A woman died following a crash in Lackawanna County on Wednesday.
According to the coroner, a 38-year-old woman from Fell Township died after being thrown from her car.
The accident happened around 3 p.m. on the Roosevelt Highway near Whites Crossing.
Police are investigating the crash in Lackawanna County.
