SCRANTON -- Some kids in Scranton received toys on Monday.
The charity Friends of the Poor teamed up with the Salvation Army to provide thousands of toys to children in Lackawanna County.
The toys were handed out at the University of Scranton.
About 800 families registered for the Gifts for Kids program.
