ASHLEY -- Two robbery suspects led police on a chase through part of Luzerne County.
Police said John Ricko Jr., 32, and Melissa Ann Doran, 32, both of Warrior Run, robbed Family Dollar on South Main Street in Ashley around 9:15 p.m. Saturday. Police said Ricko took a drawer from a cash register and was chased into the parking lot by the store manager. The pair got away with about $400.
The two then led police on a chase through Wilkes-Barre Township.
The chase ended when the car crashed on Gilligan Street in Wilkes-Barre, and the two suspects were taken into custody.
No one was hurt in the robbery.
