DURYEA -- A suitcase with a note caused a big scare in Luzerne County.
Police in Duryea say someone found the suitcase behind the VFW on Stephenson Street around 10:30 Thursday night.
The attached note said, "Please open me."
Officers cleared out the VFW and called in the bomb squad from Scranton.
Stephenson Street was closed while crews determined everything was safe.
