OLYPHANT -- A dog died in a fire Thursday morning in Lackawanna County.
The fire started around 8:15 a.m. in a double-block home on East Scott Street in Olyphant.
No one but the dog was home on the side where the fire started. Three people were in the other side and got out safely and are being helped by the Red Cross, according to state police.
A state police fire marshal said the fire appears to be accidental, started by an electrical problem.
