Bicyclist Injured After Colliding with Vehicle

PLAINS TOWNSHIP -- A man was badly hurt after crashing his bicycle into a car in Luzerne County.

It happened around 4 p.m. Saturday at Bailey and Abbott Streets in Plains Township.

Police tell us the bicyclist did not stop at a stop sign and hit a car. He was taken to a hospital with a serious head injury.

Officers said the bicyclist is expected to survive.

    And should be charged with running a stop sign.
    Mini don’t know this, but even a bicyclist has to obey the rules of the road including speed limits, in fact I know a guy who got a speeding ticket for going too fast on a downhill.
