Car Plows into Home in Taylor

TAYLOR -- A car slammed into a home in Lackawanna County Tuesday afternoon.

It happened around 4:30 p.m. along North Main Street in Taylor.

The police chief tells Newswatch 16 it appears the driver suffered from a medical condition.

No one was in the home.

The driver wasn't badly hurt but still went to a hospital after the crash.

    It’s incredible how often crashing into homes and businesses happens in the Scranton area. Yet Scranton people love to insult New Jersey and New York drivers.

    Hi would like to correct the statement above .i am the home owner yes i and my kids were home at the time . My eldest daughter was in the hall way the time of the reck . Shes doing fine still in shock and is staying with family . I also had a dog and two cats in the room at the time crates destroyed amd animals stressed and are recovering from the event. I also was in the rear of the house with my baby and my other daughter . Still waiting on total damages and when we can rebuild for our family to be together again .
