Localized Flooding Strikes Scranton

SCRANTON -- Some wild weather just blew through the Electric City, leaving some Scranton residents soaked.

Around 6 o'clock along Wyoming Avenue some cars were forced to slow down to ford through the few inches of water that began to puddle.

Newswatch 16 crews found several cars on Olive Street being forced to turn around and try to avoid the localized flash flooding. Good news, however, is that these storms appear to be making their way out of the region for the evening.
