The vehicle smashed through the front window of First National Community Bank on Main Street in Dickson City just before 10 p.m. Wednesday.
This is surveillance video of the crash from inside the bank posted to the Dickson City Police Department Facebook page.
Police believe the driver may have been trying to get away but couldn't. Officers say two men were in the car, neither was hurt.
Police arrested the driver Raymond Casale on suspicion of driving under the influence.
Officers are waiting for the results of a blood test before filing charges.
Casale couldn't explain the crash but police say he was last seen in a convenience store parking lot across the street around 10 p.m. Officers believe he did not turn on to Main Street but crossed it and went straight through the bank's lobby, taking out the front doors then the teller counter.
FNCB officials say the building can be repaired but almost everything inside was destroyed.
Bank officials say they plan to open a drive-thru and walk-up window Friday morning and could have the lobby of the bank on Main Street open for customers by Friday afternoon.
