EDWARDSVILLE -- An old elementary school in Luzerne County that's been empty for years has been demolished.
Crews took down the vacant building on Jackson Street in Edwardsville Monday.
The property is owned by Tri-Town Inc., which plans to clean up the property for the time being. While the company has no concrete future plans for the lot, a spokesperson for Tri-Town Inc. believes it will remain a parking lot for the foreseeable future.
