VIDEO: Accused Drug Dealer calls Police to Help Unlock Car with Drugs Inside

MAYFIELD HEIGHTS, Ohio - Maybe he should have called a locksmith instead?

Police arrested a suspected drug dealer in Mayfield Heights, Ohio, after the man called 911 for help after locking his keys in his car, according to WJW.

Mayfield Heights officers were happy to help, but once they got the door to the car open, they realized that 39-year-old Keith Deloach might not just be a stranded driver.

Officers noticed a strong odor of marijuana when they unlocked the car and opened the door. At first Deloach tried to pass it off as a cigar he'd been smoking, but eventually admitted that he had two bags of marijuana hidden in a coffee cup in the back seat, police said.

A search of the car also turned up a marijuana grinder, a scale and three boxes of sandwich bags labeled with the brand name "Good Sense."

Officers had a bit of a hard time trying to understand why Deloach would call them for help, given what he had in his car.

"I can't help but laugh," says one officer in the video, asking Deloach, "Did you seriously call the police?"

He is now facing charges of drug trafficking and possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia. Since the incident happened close to several children in the Golden Gate Shopping Plaza, Deloach may face new charges.

Right. At least there’s one less doper off the roads for a while. What part of ‘illegal’ doesn’t make sense to you? Doesn’t matter if you agree or not, it’s the law. You can spew all the boiler-plate rhetoric that all you 4/20 people do, but it’s still the law. Hey, here’s an idea – there are entire states where it’s legal. Maybe you could move and smoke all you want, and contribute to their economy. Win win.

Maybe you should shut up and jump back in a bar and drink yourself to death ..no one cares about your opinion so keep it to yourself idiot

‘My opinion’ just happens to be the law in the majority of the USA. So Moron, you think it’s OK for people that are stoned or drunk to get behind the wheel and drive on the same roads as your family and loved ones? Of course by the tone of your reply, you sound like the type that most people try to avoid so nobody would really miss you. BTW, I don’t hang out in bars – at least the type that you frequent.
