DICKSON CITY --  Donna Venturi, 57,  is now facing prostitution charges and other related offenses.

Investigators say clients who bought massages at her Dickson City business, The Ultimate Massage, which is now closed, got more than just a back rub.

“I know that it was shut down and it never reopened, once whatever they had done was sufficient to keep it closed,” said Justin Resnick, who owns Resnick’s Mattress Warehouse, which is in the same strip mall as The Ultimate Massage.

Authorities say in February of 2015, they received a tip that Venturi told her workers to always end massages with a sex act.

For other businesses in this strip mall, they thought something was odd about the massage parlor.

“Just the odd cars, they would sit wait for people and that`s basically it,” said Dwayne Florey at Florey and Holloway Cleaners. “Men customers used to joke and ask me if I used their services, I`d say no I keep everything, you know.”

“A lot of towels, of lot of towels, a lot of laundry,” laughed Resnick.

“It was mostly guy clientele but that`s pretty much all I noticed,” said Tyler Pawelzik at Black Casket Tattoo.

Court documents show the investigation began in July of 2015 where police sent confidential informants into the parlor who would pay for massages that ended with sex acts.

Finally, in May of 2016, troopers raided the business, finding condoms, sex toys and a box containing clients` information.

The parlor has closed since the raid with Venturi allegedly telling police at the time.

“She will shut down the business” because “The money she makes now is nothing like it was in the nineties” and that was due to competition from “Craigslist....and the influx of Asian parlors”.

“It`s a plus that they`re gone, it was a long term bad mark on this mall and it`s gone, it`s good, it`s good for us, we`re happy,” said Resnick.

Venturi is out on $10,000 unsecured bail.

A preliminary hearing is set for February 1st.

What’s wrong with a little sexpression, after all…it was “The Ultimate Massage”. So what? Why waste time with this harmless fun when you could be focusing on busting heroin dealers! Waste of resources and precious time.

This place has been there for about 15-20 years. Now all of a sudden its breaking news about whats been going on. lol. What a joke.

PS. Good job “boys in blue” wasting tax payer dollars to give your ” informants ” free massages and happy endings for several months … you know … all in the best interests of a safe and secure society.

Men already pay for it anyway!!

If you have a girlfriend, you’re paying for it.

If you have a wife, you’re paying for it and chances are you aren’t getting it.

    What’s the big deal deal!?

“Bruce” Jenner can dress up like a woman and run around like a freak and we’re FORCED to accept that and he’s supported, but Joe the Plumber who hasn’t been laid by his wife/girlfriend in 6 months can’t get a little something-something extra on the side?
    Hypocrisy I tell ya!
    Where’s the love?

If prostitutes would do a fundraiser once a year for the PBA, we wouldn’t be reading stories like this any more. Come on now. You know the drug dealers are paying for protection. Why else would we be losing the war on drugs. If corporations aren’t paying politicians, who else but drug dealers can afford to donate to them? Give it a little thought.

So…what this article is basically saying is that it took ten months’ worth of happy endings for them to finally come to their conclusion? I guess they had to be extra, extra sure.

    Just legalize it already!
    What’s the big deal?
They’re legalizing weed and people are worried about this?

Really no difference. You can disagree and piss and moan and think how could I say or think such a thing, but it’s really no different .

The problem is twofold. There are those on the left who will insist it’s a matter of “victimization,” and those on the right who insist that “smaller government” includes their particular flavor of morality. Meanwhile, the majority of us, somewhere in the middle spectrum, are left scratching our heads…. and paying for this nonsense.
