POLK TOWNSHIP — State police blocked off several roads in Monroe County Thursday morning.
Officers blocked off the intersection of Route 534 and Jonas Road, near Kunkletown.
Crews on the scene say state police are in the area of Valor Veteran Rehabilitation Clinic known as Paul’s House.
A representative for Valor said police were checking a piece of metal found on the property over safety concerns after a dispute with a former member of the facility.
The metal was found to be not dangerous and the roads were reopened after noon.
