WILKES-BARRE -- A tractor-trailer crashed through a barrier and down an embankment Monday afternoon in Luzerne County.
It happened around 2 p.m. on Route 309 south near the Wilkes-Barre/Center City exit (2) in Wilkes-Barre.
The driver was able to get out of the wreck and climb up the 30-foot bank.
