SCRANTON -- Hundreds of students in our area received an early Christmas gift this year in Lackawanna County.
A group called All About the Kids Bicycles gave away 500 bikes at the Marketplace at Steamtown in Scranton Sunday afternoon.
Local school districts chose elementary students who they believed were in need of a special gift this holiday season.
The students were given a golden ticket which they cashed in for a brand new bike.
