MONTROSE -- A man was sentenced to prison Wednesday for killing a man in an argument over drugs in Susquehanna County.
Jerry Mast was sentenced to 18 to 40 years in prison. He pleaded guilty in 2015 to third-degree murder in the stabbing death of Roy Marvin.
Police said Marvin was stabbed 29 times and bled to death in February of 2015, near state game lands in Great Bend Township. His body was dragged across the road and dumped about 100 feet down an embankment along the Susquehanna River.
Sarah Briggs was sentenced last week to life in prison for her role in the murder and hiding Marvin's body.
