BLOOMSBURG -- Newswatch 16 stopped by the seventh annual JourneyMate Wesleyan Church Christmas dinner in Bloomsburg.
The free event kicked off around noon on Sunday and served up a hot plate of Christmas spirit.
This year's dinner was held in honor of Linda Tobias who passed away this year after her battle with cancer.
"She was always in the background, but she was always encouraging and supporting in a variety of ways. And Linda Tobias passed away just in the last few months, and we wanted to make sure we honored her and recognized all her work," Pastor Tom Carney said.
The church's Christmas dinner serves 300 to 500 people every year. Any leftover food is given away to the community.
