SCRANTON -- Some veterans in Scranton were treated to a holiday party in their honor.
The Luzerne County Community College Brothers and Sisters in Christ Club held the party Saturday afternoon at the St. Francis of Assisi Veterans Home on Penn Avenue in Scranton.
The group displayed a Christmas Tree for Heroes on the campus of LCCC and collected gifts for the veterans living at the home.
Then at the party, students and staff delivered those presents to the veterans.
