Rig Rollover Slows Interstate Traffic in Lackawanna County

SCRANTON -- A truck rolled on its side, slowing traffic on Intestate 81 in Lackawanna County Friday afternoon.

It happened just before 1 p.m.

PennDOT cameras showed the rig on its side blocking one lane of travel northbound near exit 191. The on-ramp from Business Route 6 to I-81 north is also blocked.

There is no word on injuries. Video from PennDOT cameras indicated traffic was flowing again by about 4 p.m.

    People should learn to drive, slow cars drive on the right,PASSING LANE ON LEFT, to many people drive slow in the fast lane!

If you were any good at life you wouldn’t have drove truck for 28 years! Haha! How did you earn the name soapy??? Too many soap drops at the truckstop showers?

    I drove truck for 28 years,Why are there so many wrecks on 81 especially near Lenox?I do not know if it is due to lack of funding to have Troopers in that area, or what?
