Child Hit by Vehicle in Scranton

SCRANTON -- A child was hit a car early Friday morning in Scranton.

Police say the child ran onto Albright Avenue around 8 a.m. in front of a vehicle and was hit.

The child was taken to the hospital to get checked out.

According to police, the driver of the vehicle stopped.

    You know..around this time last year (i bet the same child) ran into the street right in front of me! I was going the speed limit and it was dark out! If you’re children cannot cross the street properly, they probably shouldn’t be unsupervised near the street.
