UGI Gas Bills Going Down

Customers of UGI Penn Natural Gas will see their monthly gas bills go down next month.

UGI said in a news release that rates for residential heating will go down about 6.2 percent.

An average residential bill will go from $82.92 per month to $77.75 per month.

The new rate goes into effect on December 1.

    Well it’s about time, after ripping their consumers off with high prices on and off for about 15 of the past 20 years. When I switched my home, that I unfortunately had in Scranton, years ago from natural gas to propane, my heating bills at the time went down about 30% to 40% compared to what it was costing my to heat with UGI.
