Convicted Killer off Death Row

MONROE COUNTY -- A convicted murderer in the Poconos successfully appealed his death sentence and will now serve the rest of his life behind bars.

Manuel Sepulveda was arrested in 2001 for killing two men from New York at a home near Kresgeville.

Former Governor Tom Corbett signed Sepulveda's execution warrant in 2011.

His attorneys challenged the death sentence, and Monroe County Court agreed, reducing the sentence to life in prison.

why do they waste 12 peoples time? the only thing 12 can do that sticks is not guilty. anything else is just turning the future judges loose to make money.

What a load of B.S., this guys victims didn’t get the same thought or consideration. These judges should be disbarred right along with the attorneys. Boohoo for this man that he got the death sentence, be someone should have taught him about consequences to his actions….oh wait, we are not at fault for “our” actions it is always someone else’s fault. Foolish me!
