Dallas School Board: No New Negotiations Scheduled

DALLAS TOWNSHIP -- A meeting was set for Monday to discuss the on-going teachers strike in Luzerne County.

Teachers have been off the job in Dallas School District for nearly three weeks.

The school board to met Monday night at 6 p.m. to talk about the issues surrounding the strike. The school board explained there are no new negotiations scheduled.

Educators have been without a contract for more than a year.

The state says teachers have to go back to work in that district in Luzerne County on December 13 to get in the required 180 days.
