SCRANTON -- The electric city lived up to its namesake Friday as Mayor of Scranton flipped the switch into the Christmas Season.

The annual holiday light show in Nay Aug Park kicked off at 5 pm Friday.

The lights will be on display every night from 5 pm to 9 pm through December 30, free to the public.

Although the display is free to the public, donations will be accepted.
