WILKES-BARRE -- A former high school principal in Wilkes-Barre was sentenced Thursday to house arrest for child endangerment.
Former Coughlin High School principal Frank Michaels pleaded guilty in September.
Authorities say Michaels knew a wrestling coach was having a sexual relationship with a student but did nothing about it.
Michaels was sentenced on Thursday to 9 months of house arrest. Michaels was also ordered to have no contact with the victim or attend events hosted by the Wilkes-Barre Area School District.
