Three Men Charged with Sex Crimes Involving Young Boys

PITTSTON -- Three men are charged with sex crimes involving young boys in Luzerne County.

Police said David Parker, 38, of Saylorsburg, brought a 9-year-old boy to Craig Knox, 35, of Virginia, to a spot in Pittston so the two could have sex.

The alleged assault happened in 2010.

Parker is also accused of assaulting the boy.

The investigation also uncovered an attempt by Jeffrey Harvey, 40, of West Wyoming, to set up sex with a boy through Parker. He is locked up in the Lackawanna County Prison.

Parker is currently locked up in the Monroe County Prison, charged with two counts of unlawful contact with a minor and one count of sexual exploitation of children.

Knox is charged with one count each of rape of a child, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child, and sexual exploitation of children, as well as two counts of unlawful contact with a minor. He is being held in the Luzerne County Prison with bail set at $500,000.
