Museum on a Mission: Everhart Gives Back

A part of the Everhart Museum in Scranton is getting ready to debut a new look as a part of a free event this weekend and it’s doing a lot more than just spotlighting area artists.

This Saturday, the museum will be hosting a free Community Day event with various organizations including Big Brothers, Big Sisters.   There will be guided tours of the museum,  activities with area artists and interactive workshops.

Also on Saturday, the Everhart Museum gift shop is set to reopen.  Here you will be able to find local artisan-made items, art supplies, Everhart Museum products, and books and toys for children.
