WILLIAMSPORT -- Donald Trump had big numbers throughout central Pennsylvania, but one of his biggest wins came in Lycoming County.
As the sun rose on Wednesday, Ryan Workman was only running on a few hours of sleep. He spent most of the night at the Lycoming County Republican Committee headquarters in Williamsport.
"(This is) the aftermath of a great victory party," said Workman.
Workman and about 30 others watched together as the numbers came in for the presidential race. He was there on Basin Street when Donald Trump was named the winner of the presidential election.
"Sitting right here on my computer putting in the data as the results were coming in from across the state,” said Workman.
"People were screaming and yelling and running around, and boy, when he would get a state, it was like awesome," Barbara Foll.
The voter service center calls Lycoming County a red county, so it was no surprise to many voters when we told them Trump walked away with about 70 percent of the votes in their area.
Lynn Baumbach and her husband tried to stay up for the final election results. Instead, they discussed Trump's win over coffee at Julie's Cafe on West Third Street.
"I think everyone is interested to see when he does get in January, what's going to transpire, and he had a plan and hopefully he can do well,” said Baumbach.
Not everyone is happy with the election results.
"He's a liar. He's a cheat. He doesn't even pay minimum wage to any of his employees, and these people that are poor and working class think he's going to help? No!" said Deborah Keller.
"Of course I feel bad for the other people, but I know they will see what he does and be happy,” said Foll.
