The U.S. Attorney’s office says a man from Scranton admitted to using a child for sex trafficking in Luzerne and Lackawanna counties.
Court papers show Mark Matis, 28, pleaded guilty to advertising the child in an escort section of a website, giving the victim drugs and condoms, and renting motel rooms where the child was used for sex in 2014.
Matis is one of four locked up in the sex trafficking investigation.
