WOLF TOWNSHIP -- Marian Schaefer and Loretta Ryder had some time to mull over their decision before voting Tuesday morning near Hughesville.

"I mean, I wouldn't not think of voting but this isn't my favorite year," said Marian Schaefer.

Their precinct is one of the largest polling places in Lycoming County. The friends waited in line for about a half hour before voting inside Hughesville Friends Church. We caught up with them on their way out.

"We're glad it's over. Aren't we?” said Loretta Ryder.

"I don't know if I feel relieved or any type of closure until we get the results tonight. Either way, there is some part of me that's still going to be disappointed but at least it's better than carrying on with this nonsense,” said Cody Bremigen.

While some voters did feel conflicted about this year’s presidential election, it hasn't stopped them from coming out to the polls. The line was too long for some voters.

"The line is going from one room clear out to the other inside there so I have to get back to work,” said Richard Laubach.

The voter registration office in Lycoming County says there are around 70,000 people registered to vote. Out of the 70,000, there around 50,000 people who are expected to come out and exercise their right. There will be more than one precinct busy Tuesday. By noon time, the line was still out the door in Fairfield Township.

"We waited about a half hour. Another lady that was here said she waited about 45 minutes," said Frank Kershner.

The last time Sylvia Mase remembers a line this long, "I think with Eisenhower."

This voter like many others bore the long lines for one reason.

"We have to decide between our candidates which one we want that we feel will do the best for us," said Mase.
