HAZLETON -- Fire drove one person out of a home in Hazleton Monday morning.

It broke out in the home along Maple Street around 9:30 a.m.

Authorities said one person made it out safely when a smoke detector went off.

Firefighters believe the fire started because of an electrical problem in a third-floor attic.
