SCRANTON -- Scranton Mayor Bill Courtright says the Electric City is poised to get out of distressed status.
The announcement came Friday morning during Courtright's third "State of the City" address.
The mayor highlighted this 2016's financial developments, including Scranton's partnership with a non-profit to manage the Parking Authority and the pending Sewer Authority sale..
Mayor Courtright also mentioned the possibility of storm water fee that would help pay for federally mandate improvements of Scranton's storm drains.
