WILKES-BARRE — Two men are accused of attacking a 74-year-old man in Wilkes-Barre on Sunday morning.
Officers tell us Gabriel Nieves, 21, and Colton Roberts, 25, posed as SPCA workers and told the victim they were there to take his cats from his home on Carey Avenue.
When the victim accused them of using fake IDs and called 911, they allegedly attacked him and knocked him down some stairs.
Nieves and Roberts face aggravated assault and other charges in Luzerne County.
